The M & G Paradise Garden

This 2014 Chelsea flower show garden provided us with the opportunity to work with designer Cleve West again and our sponsor M&G Investments.

The garden was awarded a RHS Gold medal.

The paradise garden was inspired by the ancient gardens of Persia that still influence how we create gardens today. Water flows from a tall octagonal Bath stone fountain and travels through a series of stone rills. Flint is used in a variety of ways from a natural cobbled form in the sunken terrace to knapped walling on the fountain walls. Finely worked flint is also used to form the decorative turtle shell inlay details set in the fountain structure. Roots of the tree of life are engraved into stone wall panels set within Taxus hedging.
